Party like it's christmas
I went home feeling as if my body would separate itself from me, I dropped immediately and that’s where my body speaks for me. It was a long and exhausting day yet productive. I never would have imagined that I’d be able to enjoy a day like that considering that I hate being busy, but truth to be told, I enjoyed every bit of it.
The day was fine to begin with, and that made the students enjoy the event more. With their classrooms filled with different design but with the same thought, it speaks the best. Let’s also not forget about the color palette which is almost the same with every room, it’s red, green, and some were gold. Consequently, I went to our classroom to start with the little program that we prepared and was tasked to be the host which I find very funny since I’m not a good talker, however, I was given a chance to do so – so I accepted it wholeheartedly. The program includes playing games, eating lunch and the most awaited part – giving gift. Later to that was spent doing karaoke, and that made me happy as our adviser joined the fun.
Moving on, as the day goes by and here comes the afternoon, the school organized an event that includes the presentation of christmas trees and lanterns made by the students using recycled materials, only to showcase their talent in crafting and design. Caroling is one of the contests as well; while some may not have done well, what matters most is that they appear happy and in content and that’s where the true essence of christmas lies.
When the christmas party comes to an end, it
doesn’t mean that the fun and the spirit of it also ends, but it just
symbolizes the beginning. We did end up with our happy faces and feeling of
contentment and at the same time excitement, but that doesn’t mean that it’s
the end. It’s just the beginning of our happy, blissful, and blessed month of
facing December and towards the next year.
